.22 magazine question

Hey everyone! I just got my license a week and a half ago and picked up my first rifle just yesterday but now I have a question.
I bought a Savage A22 and I want an extra magazine but I could only find the .22WMR magazines at Cabelas for the magnum version of my rifle. They look exactly the same but the stamp on the side is obviously different. Can I still use this magazine for my rifle with the .22lr ammo? Or no? Update: my bad, the magazine isn't quite the same. Guess I will be taking it back to Cabelas and searching online.

Hey SherryM~bogie is right. Find a reputable Savage dealer in your area, and inquire with them. It's a relatively new model for Savage, though I don't have a sense of how many are out there yet. Shouldn't be too hard to find mags for them.
