.22 Magnum pistols

I happen to agree. Owning a .22 handgun is all about low recoil and/or cheap ammo. Really there is no other reason to own a rimfire handgun that I can see. If you want more recoil and spend more on ammo just buy a 9mm :D

good point.but the pmr30 is just damn ###y

This is mine...Stainless H&R model 650 22LR/22WMR
It can fire as a double or single action.I picked it up off the EE and fixed the grip.
Its a nice accurate little gun

.. And, for those that like the really small guns, there was the High Standard (?) over and under, updated, hammerless "Derringer". ..... David K

As mentioned by someone else (over a year ago) :p I personally have no need for a .22WMR in a handgun unless we are allowed to hunt with it. That being said, a PMR 30 in .22LR would find a home with me if they existed.

I've got a .22 mag cylinder for my heritage arms revolver, but I've never used it. Don't much see the point.

On the other hand, I just bought a 9mm, and I can't hunt with that so I guess the same argument can be made.

Well, sort of. 9mm can be used in IDPA, IPSC, 3-gun and other action shooting sports. .22WMR generally isn't. I have a legitimate use for my SR9 as I shoot IPSC. My 22/45 - not so much. It's just for fun and plinking at the range. A .22WMR would fall into the same boat but at 10x the cost of ammo.

That being said, I have no problem with anyone buying any gun chambered for any ammo, regardless of whether I see the point in it or not. It's a free country (well, sort of) and we should all be allowed to do as we please without worrying about what others think of it.
