Maybe a CZ 455 would be a good 22 mag?
Several years ago I was chatting with a buddy about 22 Mag & he said 22 LR is a 'drip of lead' BUT with the 22 Mag you can get a proper jacketed projectile AND it's a 100+ meter rimfire...
And so it was that the seed was planted such that when a sale popped up, I grabbed a tube fed Marlin XT in 22 Mag...
Been happy ever since!
Cheers
Jay
This was the sale...

Hey all. I regret selling my 22 mag and need a replacement. Open to any make and model that isn't ultra rare or super expensive. Not sure if I want a bolt gun in a chassis or a classic wood stocked bolt action or a lever or even a semi yet. I'd like to hear what you all are shooting and what you like and don't like that's available on today's market
Use will be strictly small game so optics are most likely to be used.
If you could locate a nice HK 300 you would have one of the nicest 22mag s aroundView attachment 732920
CZ 457 all the way! Love mine, nice wood and shoots great!
I just got this Rossi RB22M. It's a really comfortable rifle and the price was right. With illuminated 3-9x40 Bushnell and ATRS rings it's 5lbs 10oz and seems like it'll be a great combo... if it shoots ok.

I have a Ruger 10/22 mag, but have hardly shot it, I sold my Keltec CMR 30 to buy it, really don't miss the Keltec but I will probably never sell the Ruger
