I am pretty sure that if we can get to page 100, the RCMP will magically reclassify the GSG5. We won't know until we try!

I'm just curious... what do you think the "CFC retards" think of your comments when they read them? And read them they do.
Well I for one hope they read them and think "wow, maybe we were wrong on this", thats what I hope they think, instead of "its nice to have a job with little critical oversight".
Ultimately I am old fashoined, I would like to think a government worker would think of themselves as a public servant, and that right should come before, and above dubious judgements.
I concur that in the past firearms have been prohibed based on some quite vacuous decisions and criteria (damn prohib H&K G11's), but I will not yield the hope that someone in authority will decide that the classification of this gun, as a prohib, is a collosal blunder. There must always be an avenue for appeal and reconsideration for just such cases. I am hoping in this case, there is that reasoned reconsideration.

And ultimately, dude, kindly don't kill my buzz with reality and Mandarin doublespeak. All I want is a cool looking 22, thats it, please, for the love of God, Canada, and cute baby kittens, please don't rain on my dreams :)

Santa, Santa can you hear me.... I wants one of these 22s

It's classed as an MP5 variant, and we won't see it here..get over it

Maybe if the manufacturer didn't market it as such,it would of stood a chance

Looks like we are going to need reassurances. Wasn't there an importer (blueline?!?) that sent one to the RCMP to be re-evaluated? Does anyone remember? This thread is too long to go through it and find out.

thats a clasical case of me too.

you have guys that know how to do it : TSE, Wolverine, Questar

and then you have the guys that dont know #### but think they can play the game and ultimately get good gun banned

Apparently the RCMP got a LOOK at one at a gun show in the States and couldn't actually pull it apart for verification so they just made it classified "prohibited" on LOOKS alone.

Guys come on, when was the last time a prohibited firearm got reclassified?

Whether it was prohibited on grounds that the average CGNer finds satisfactory or not is irrelevant at this point.

At this point the gun is prohibited and we're not getting it. It sucks but you're going to have to deal with it.

If by some miracle it becomes non-restricted then take it as a treat from the RCMP but we should all be realistic and just move on.

You sir are definitely NOT my "customer base" :)
But there are likely a few here, reading this, including me, that have or were considering buying from Questar... think about it.

8
8 more pages. Muah ahahahahaha.......................
IN on page 93. Come on, let's get this to 100!
lol, a few of us have... just getting it to 100 pages.
Why waste everyones time reading BTT posts? 100 pages (ASSUMING you're using 10 posts/page) doesn't mean anything. It doesn't do anything. There are other threads here with more. Why waste people's time posting nothings?

Guys come on, when was the last time a prohibited firearm got reclassified?
There are many that have. Walther PP, PPK, HK P7 (without change). No reason for this to be prohib and no reason for it not to be taken off the prohib list. So they made a mistake. They can get over it and clean up their reputation at the same time.
