I have handled this rifle and it is amazing. :D

The issue with it's status is simply that someone from the RCMP picked up a brochure and determined by the marketing material that it was prohibited.

This makes getting a reversal a serious posibility. I have never dealt with "Blue Line Activities Ltd" before so I cannot comment on their expertise in this area. However, we are not going to let this one slip through because of inexperience. I've tried to Google these guys to no avail... Anyone have a contact for them?

We'll also keep you guys appraised! ;)

BTW, the retail will be well below $1000

If you need, you can contact Blue Line Activities at blue.line@shaw.ca
Call them or fax them at:

Tel.1-888-263-0210
Fax 1-888-263-0211

Why would you call someone inexperienced if you cant google them? They are doing international sales for very long time. We'll see them becoming CGN supporting dealer soon. And yes, the retail price should actually be below $800.

How many new firearms has TSE brought to the Canadian market? Now, how many firearms has Blue Line Activities imported?

It's good to hear that TSE is looking to help with this one. Hopefully these will become a reality here soon!

Easy now...

All I asked was for contact info as I couldn't find them using conventional methods.

:agree:

I'm sure the guys at Blue Line are nice and all... But given the choice, I'll bet my money on TSE anytime!

And since we're all dreaming... I hope the magazines are reliable and affordable!

<$800?! I'm all over that. I've been looking for a new "black" .22 for a while. I wonder if we'll get this prohibition business sorted out before they start shipping. These rifles/SMGs with 30 rd mags will be so much fun.

Id love to get one, assuming they ever are imported...I just hope with all the hype and such there won't be another fiasco like with the R22's.

I cannot go into details, but these guys are alrady producing firearms for other LARGE manufacturers.

I looked at the magazines and they too are pretty high quality (25rdrs).

Both the rifle and accesories will be reasonably priced.

As a happy R22 owner, I'd be all over this one as well.:dancingbanana:

The RCMP doesn't any technical documentation to establish what exactly IS a variant... It's always up to the officer in charge of that specific "request" to make the call...
I was under the impression that the RCMP was legally obliged to say there is some sort of design related basis for the prohibition.

And in this case, it can be as simple as the factory claiming it is a derivative.

Now comes the work of turning to the RCMP and making a case of why it is merely a cosmeticly similar firearm.
