I'd be interested for sure. Though the prospects of a $1,000 rimfire interests me about as much as a $3,000+ Blue Special...:(

Quantities of scale being what they are, I would hope the price to be less than 4 figures if an importer ordered sufficient quantities.
Try building a 10/22 and you could see $1000.00 pretty quick.

Yeah, for sure but no one is "building" anything here in Canada for a very limited market. They're going to be imported. Look at the initial price listed on the company's web site. It's not very expensive to buy in their home market.

I think to comparison to a custom 10/22 is unfounded. A 250$ gun plus 750$ worth of parts and associated shipping is a whole lot different then a 450$ gun with 550$ of shipping...

I hope you are right...if some one is the sole importer in this country I hope that they don't set out to make profit that may be more than what is considered to be reasonable as to what is reasonable, IE...screwing people just because they have a monopoly.

Im afraid it is too late for that. When several members make claim that they will pay $900 or $1000 for this gun... why would a sole retailer charge just $750?

What people say they'll pay is often a lot different than what they will pay. The only time you'll know for sure is when it's time to put down the cash (put up or shut up time).

It's easy to say, harder to do.
I can't see people paying almost a grand for that .22. It's neat, but.... that's a good chunk of cash. At a grand It's not much less than a Sig pistol, A Kimber .22 rifle etc. It's a decent amount towards an AR as well. Or.... It's a 6.5-20x 50mm Leupold scope. A large chunk of a family home down payment...... A luxury car payment etc etc.

Oh... my... Gawd.

I haven't been this excited about a firearm in a long time. I really don't care if it's > 1000$, I'm still getting one: .22LR ammo doesn't cost much anyway, so the rifle's price is a non-issue to me.

Well, that's coming from a Black Special owner so... yeah. :D
