Come on mounties, let us have this... you're too stupid to let us have short barrels because they're "evil", but just smart enough to re-classify a 22 when you see one. :runaway: ;)

Looks like there's a fair amount of plastic on that gun. That's not necessarily a bad thing either, if it's made of the right stuff. I'm interested in a thorough range report. If it's not accurate, my interest goes way down.

edit to add a pic of some accessories and a link to a video

No, dude, it's not going to be a "clone". DUH!
Clone, copies and variants are bad words here. Don't you know it?

And after that you guys wonder why a 22 is classified as this was.

A new .22 is under development by GSG that will be of totally new manufacture and design that takes stylistic clues from airsoftish line of rifles and it will produce orgasms in soccer moms, Political Correctness buffs and people who love romantic walks on the shore, birdwatching, candlelight dinners, and peace'n quiet in general.
how's that?
I have modified it for you :D

i understand everyone points but lots of other weapon are prohibited just for looking like the real deal. there is even a 22lr that look like an AK that is prohibited and it has nothing to do with an AK (ruko sometihng something) there is a lot of thoses and nobody never go the RCMP to re-classified them

All these firearms that were banned because of their looked were listed by name in a IOC...

I am wondering, are MP-5s legal to own in the US?

Well the Mythbusters have them...and they will not start an avalanche...

...cause this thread is WOT anyhow.

ps. Guys who are complaining this thread is over 30? pages... change your user options, it's only on page five for me :)

pps. This is the tread that never ends, it just goes on and on my friend....

... until it comes crashing down with an announcement by TSE that our lovable mounties refuse to reclassify it.

For what it's worth, the ride is enjoyable so far. :)

Even if it's metal, how come it is made of two halves screwed together? Also, it looks like its kind of a PITA to strip and clean.. Then again putting a 10/22 receiver back together can suck sometimes.

The hammer looks like cast aluminum... breaky breaky.
