hi, i got to swallow my pride and ask for help.
i have three .22 semi auto pistols: a series two colt woodsman, a ruger 22/45 and a browning buckmark target.
the last two have been misfeeding about once per clip - very frustrating. the old colt just gobbles away and puts my two "fancy" guns to shame. i have played with all sorts of makes of ammo.
i have been reading all i can in the gunnutz postings, and everything indicates that the new guns should be dissasembled, cleaned up and reassembled. (i don't even really know what "cleaned up" means; get the steel wool out?)
therin lies the problem. the manuals are just so darned simplistic. i really want to take the guns down and NOT bring the pices to my gunsmith in a box.
is anyone aware of some step by step guides on the net? are there any videos/cd's that are available?
thanks in advance from a timid mechanic.

www.coltautos.com has a manual for the woodsman and browning has the manual to download for the buckmark
pay close attention to the takedown on the colt- i have one, they are simple to do, but need to take the steps as directed
ruger site has the 22/45 manual

thank you all

just wanted to thank you all.

the guns are clean, back together and working much better.

what a treat to have this resource available!

best wishes
