.22 rifles

That’s why I left it as a broad question.
Your question was the equivalent of asking .... whats a good vehicle?

A good vehicle for what? Racing, taking the kids to school, hauling work tools, traveling around the country? A Ferrari is a good vehicle for driving fast but not so good for taking the kids to school. An F150 is a good vehicle for hauling stuff around but not so good for track days.

The question itself is nonsensical.

now I’ve done a lot of shooting over the last ten years and I’ve had almost all the basic 22s from a savage mk2 to the brand new deuce 2.0 but my honest opinion is there’s only two options that are budget friendly and accurate and that’s a T1x and the cz457

And the 10-22s and Derya tm22 are cool but you simply don’t learn patience with a semi auto. there are ok but if your new to shooting the T1x is the most user friendly and accurate rifle on the market without spending over 1k

So don’t let you local sporting store talk you into these junk or POS rifles…

Savage mk2 Chiappa badger a knock off 10-22
Ruger RPR Or anything that says rock island armoury on it

My picks to buy… T1X Or cz 457

Always remember you get what you pay for in the 22lr world

Sorry for the rant lol

Appreciate the info. I’m clearly new to the firearms world and was looking for some recommendations from more experienced guys. Price isn’t necessarily a concern for me. That’s why I left it as a broad question.

Thought this was more of a conversation area rather than a place for guys to rag on a newbie.

Cheers
Spend your time reading relevant posts which already exist.. You will learn much more than asking questions which appear to be silly to seasoned members. When you gain some knowledge, and still have relevant questions, you will very likely be welcomed into ongoing discussion.

Maybe in the interest of getting thoughtful advice from experienced guys=resist the temptation to comment on genital size? lol

Tikka T1x would be (=is) my top pick for an overall 22 @ the best price. I'm contemplating a second one to leave in the box in the event anything happens to my existing one. Something I've never considered even once, but that speaks to my opinion of them. CZ457s are excellent too, and arguably prettier guns. Many of us have both.... I might know a guy. lol

Old Winchesters are great……..52’s, 69, 69A’s.
Browning makes a great semi.
One in the ee for a remarkable price.
Tikka T3’s
Marlin 39 GM
94-22
Old Marlin repeaters shoot well

You notice I don’t mention the 10-22’s?
Borrrrrrrring
10/22 is on my low end of the list. I got one, don't really recommend it as anything but a plinker. Quality are garbage now. I hate my plastic trigger guard one. Pins are always coming out.

Our rifle shoots, I never see a 10/22 more than middle of the pack.
