22 rim fire clearance

I have a single shot Anchutz 22 long rifle... on an empty chamber the bolt will close and is actually snug (not tight but snug)
With the go gauge there is approx .002" clearance.
What I was wandering should there be some clearance between the bolt nose and the barrel?

Most rim fires I have seen have the correct "headspace" milled in the bolt face and the bolt nose may contact the barrel.
