Hi all i'm just wondering what you'd reccommend putting on my marlin 795ss for an inexpensive scope i'm looking to spend LESS than 100$. i've been looking at teh bushnell and the simmons 3x9. I have a bushnell fixed 4x on my savage mkII and it was been a great scope. basically what do you reccommend?

low cost scope.... Olivon 2x7 AO

I've got one of these on my 10/22 sporter, very clear, holds zero, not too large. AO ring is a little stiff though.
Costs $60.00

avoid bushnell sportsman. the olivon scope mounts I'd pass on.

Nikon has a nice rimfire scope. Pro-staff. About $100.00 US.
Not sure how much in Canada. Leupold has a fantastic rimfire scope but definitely more than your budget.

I set up one of these on a .22 couple years ago. Was very impressed! Adjustments were spot on, very good clarity, and nicely finished.

And then shot 10 rounds into a nickel sized hole in the x-ring at 25 yds.

I think the few extra bucks would be money well spent.

well i went to the gunshop i bough my bolt .22 and 4x bushnell scope over 10 years ago and talked to him. he had the EXACT same 4x bushnell in stock and on sale so i scooped it up. i almost think the scope has been sitting there for 10 years waiting for me to scoop it up too lol. I'm very happy with teh 1st one and the price was right and i don't like change so now they both have the same scope on them lol

I've had the leupold rimfire scope. Very disappointing....Nikon prostaff scopes are incredibly clear. For a 140 ish $, you can't beat them....

Just picked up a Tasco Rimfire 3-9x32 for my Ruger. First day out with it today, and I'd say it's pretty good - but until now I've been using an old Crosman 4x32 airgun scope, so take that as you will.

I have the simmons 4X .22 mag. So far so good. $39.00 at Cabelas Canada.
Make sure you pull the box completely appart to find the rings though.
