22 rimfire

what is the best scope for a 22 rimfire rifle that will probably not fire over 75 yds ?

IMHO, the best rimfire scope is the Leupold EFR at 500.00 plus. I have some of them and they are darn nice. The 2nd best is the 2-7 x 28 Rimfire Leuppy, $335.00 ish.
Weaver make some very nice rimfires scopes but hardly any Canadian dealers carry them. The Weaver 2-7 is a very good scope and can be had for around $199.00, if you can find a dealer that stocks them. Just as good as my Leupold 2-7. They also make a real good 3-9

The Nikon line has a rimfire product in a fixed 4 power and their 2-7 is a very nice piece, right around the $150.00, dang near as fine a 2-7 as the more expensive pieces mentioned above.

That would be my picks for the best of the best in dedicated rimfire product.

The are many inexpensive Adjustable Objective pieces that will also work fine on any rimfire rifle, The Bushnell Banner line has a few of these. Legend, and Trophy as well,
For more money the Bushnell 3200 pieces in 4-12 and 5-15 although large will work very well and are likey less money than the Leupold EFR.

There it is scopes 101, FS

Got a cheap Tasco that is a 3-9x56mm & did some night shooting last wensday night. The IR red was way to bright but the IR green feature was realy nice for shooting @ 100 meter's. This was supper fun because except for rainy & dark winter day's I never used the IR funtion. Also with the big 56mm bell I can hit clay's @ 200m all day long on my VTR.
