I hae a Mossberg 151M, an old Cooey 64 (my very first rifle, and no feed problems at all), a recently acquired Taurus Mdl 63 (copy Win 63), and a Tyrol Model 5522. All are semis. I used to have a minty Win 490 as well.
The Mossberg is more accurate than appearance suggests, great target peep sights. The Taurus is a bullet-eating machine, and a great plinker. Outstanding build quality. The Austrian Tyrol is my most unusual .22 - probably only a handfull in Canada - and accurate to boot.
Yes, new production rifles aren't the only ones out there. Do a little research and you'll find a mind-boggling number of makes and designs out there. Some of the newer designs leave much to be desired.
Browse around gunsamerica, or auctionarms, or gunbroker, or here in the EE and you'll see quite a variety.
