Big thanks to Wolverine for the new 22LR Kadet kit for my Shadow 2. Took it out tonight straight from the post office and tested it some CCI ammo. I expected some light strikes as I have an 11lb hammer spring installed, but only had 6 or 7 out of 50 rounds. Mags fed flawlessly, and I installed the red recoil spring after a few failures to return to battery completely, again, expected as my frame is super tight compared to a lot of them. The red recoil spring included (there is black, red and yellow) cured that immediately. The new mags are soooooo much better than the old Kadet mags, plastic and easier to load, however the old mags will work with the kit if you have them.
Accuracy was only slightly tested as I had a meeting to attend and only had a 15 minutes to spare, but once I zeroed it at 10m (4 clicks down on the rear sight) I was hammering a 2inch steel square 100% of the time at 10m during semi rapid fire on our steel bay. Tons of fun will be had with this new toy!
