Can anyone think of models that use strictly .22 short or long? Only ones I can find are single shots.

Some older .22 pumps use .22 Long's or .22 Short's exclusively; the Winchester Model 1890 (that of the octagonal barrel) is one such example (using .22 short's).

Browning made a quite a number of "gallery" model 22 short semi-autos in past years. I talked to one owner who had three of them. He claimed that one had shot well over a million rounds. Regards, Eagleye.

I have a browning bl22 lever action. Takes both short(17) and long(15) in the tube.
Great gun, never get misfires, easy to clean.
I put a cheap 3x9 bushnell scope on it and I tear out the 1 inch bull at 25 yards. I have found though that the shorts are now more expensive than the longs. Shorts are good for outdoors, you don't piss people off with the noise.
The gun itself ranges from about $300 to $450. If like me you see one for under $300 that is in good shape, jump all over it.
You with love it.

My father's Nylon 66 eats .22 shorts for breakfast, and it's a semi auto. Not sure if it's marked for .22 short but Dad always used them regardless since he was a young man.

Silly question here, but why are you looking for repeaters that exclusively feed on .22 short or .22 long? Is it just a matter of curiousity?

Yes. A matter of curiousity. Every rifle I've seen that is a repeater is either in .22LR or .22WMR. Never L or S. After I posted this topic, I've seen a few lever actions in .22 S & L. I don't have an intention of buying a rimfire .22 S or L, unless I see one for a good price of course. My LR's and WMR's are more than adequate. Just curious if they existed. It seemed odd to me that .22 shorts and longs would only be made for single shot firearms.
