.22 short

I have an old Husqvarna rolling block chambered in .22 short.Due to its age(over 100 years old) I shoot low velocity ammunition(CB shorts) Can't find any anywhere,does anybody even make it anymore?

Yes, it is still made. I have a 100 year old Winchester pump in 22 short. But ammo costs more than Long Rifle.

The last time I saw any in quantity, was out on the prairies. For some reason the box stores out there stocked it.

I shoot .22 shorts and CBs all the time and never have a hard time to find them. Wholesale sports or Cabelas always seems to have them every time I look. I've never not been able to find them when I want them. They cost more than bulk 22 but for shooting small pests in the back yard at short distance I prefer them.

If you can't find any in the bigger stores ask at a small shop if they can order them. I can usually get almost anything ordered in at my local gun store.

I have not seen a box of 22 short CB's locally in almost a year. I have had some luck online.

I haven't really payed any attention lately , but I always seem to find them no problem when I want them. My Old Mossberg 146b holds 30 at a time , but I find it easier to just load 25 , do it twice , and the box is empty. It's cheaper to shoot long rifle ammo though.
