22 STICKIES? Really?

Seems like a few stickies here could and would just be bumped threads in any other forum when interest surfaces.
Many are useful, but some are hardly sticky worthy. Every time I enter I have scroll, scroll, scroll down to bypass them and get to the current threads.
Meh, pet peeve disclosure over.
 
I've said this many a time. Mods either don't care, or are unclear on the concept of sticky contents.
 
I think this is the 22nd thread about too many stickies.:p

Not a big deal in my opinion. Lots of really good info in those stickies that is unfortunately overlooked by many.

I just checked the TV Times, and right after the TV show "Hoarding Disorders", the next show on is "Complaining People with Sticky Disorders". ;)
 
Yes you should have . Most people interested in Milsurps are not only concerned with a type of firearm but its use,variations,maintenance and historical context.Go onto Milsurps.com and check out how many categories they have on their index.Kind of makes 22 stickies seem insignificant.

Sure does! The Lee-Enfield forum almost has a full page of stickies. ha ha.
 
Yeah so just sticky the whole forum already then like those other boards and neuter all discussion. The Milsurp forum here keeps solidifying is reputation it seems. Oh well, I knew this thread would turn out this way. Pretty sad.

Who says that a stickie neuters all discussuion?Most stickies are open on this and many other forums.

Neuter's all discussion? How do you figure that?

Solidifying its reputation as what? A forum with friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful people that love learning about history and preserving it? I can only assume that's what you mean since that's what this forum is.
