.22 Target Pistol?

Just recently found one, and couldn't resist the 3rd series 4 1/2" Colt Woodsman Match Target that was also available.

Johnn, nice gun. What are all those 5 pieces in the box (not including the gun).

A counterweight support that fits in a dovetail slot on the under side of the barrel. Three counterweights, 0.94oz, 1.79oz and 2.52oz. And a block for holding .22 ctgs.

In addition, I believe there was also supposed to be a screw driver of sorts that is missing.;)It'll give me something to search for at gun shows:).

This is from today. Ruger Mark III at 20 yards with Burris Fast Fire III.

40 rounds in less than 25 seconds of shooting (not including mag changes).

Try a Walther SP22 M4. Best deal in town, Target grade profile. Just not much info on reliability. Again, I can vouch for my Browning Buckmark Contour and a Ruger Mk III/2245. Older SW 41 and Colt Target pistols are available to around $ 300-500.

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on which .22 target pistol to get? Looking for something accurate and affordable.

Thanks T

I've been on a 'quest' as of late, acquiring some decent .22LR target pistols two of which are a 5 1/2" heavy barrel S&W model 41.

I've looked around a bit and settled on the ones pictured as they're in mint condition. Finding these in comparable condition in the $300.oo - $500.oo price range 'may' be somewhat difficult.
