I haven't seen them up here but it is kind of a neat cartridge. Ballistically similar to the 5.7x28mm but can fit into a 9mm platform apparently. definitely a roll your own proposition.
It would definitely be a novelty item to have that's for sure. Though if I really wanted a relatively fast .22 cal. option in a 1911 type handgun, I think I'd be better off with a GSG 1911 and CCI Stingers.
