.22 tracer round avalibility?

Any 22 tracer rounds from canadian online dealers, or in Calgary/Alberta?

I don't know if they are easy to get in Canada... but from what I hear they kind of suck. I too would like some though, I've seen them for sale on Cabelas, but that may only be in the US?

I found some 22 tracers that my dad had from more than likley in the 60ties . the stuff is from France a company called Gevearm if I recall it right . I have a box or so put away . I tried 1 or 2 of them a few years ago and they still worked . they were;nt too loud either .

Gevelot made them in Canada at the plant in Saskatoon SK. They were a nice oddity and I still have a brick or two., Shortly after starting to make the .22 tracer the entire plant closed down and the existing stock of ammo was sold off for pennies on the dollar to the Army and Navy Dept. Stores.

I should hope not. None of my .22's scare my dog with regular lr.

$109.99 US for 250 rounds. Of course you can't buy them because of the whole US export thing. But consider if that's what they cost over there, just imagine what they'd cost if you found them here.
