.22 Tracer

Has anyone ever used .22 tracer rounds and are they avaiable anywhere in canada?

Yes - got them in Utah years ago -
They light up immediatly -
Not very accurate -
Bad for the barrel -

How long do they burn for?
I found the military 5.56mm tracers just gave a brief "wink" of trace, then burned out too soon.
I suspect that 22RF would be a bit of a wasted effort.

22lr tracers look like fun. I've seen them for sale on Cabela's web site.

How long do they burn for?

Military tracers take a while to light up so shooters position isnt revealed.
.22 tracers light up immediatly and burn out quickly.
The ones I had burnt out after about 35 yds.
Very erratic accuracy.
