22 wmr BDC scopes?

Besides cabelas house brand scope, who makes bdc reticle scopes for the 22 magnum? I’d like something 2-7, or maybe 3-9 Power.

I've got a few Hawke scopes with caliber specific reticles. So far I've tested the .22LR at 200 and it was excellent, I also shot the 17HMR out to 300 and it was amazing. I zeroed at 100 and shot steel at 225,250,275 and 300 and all were within 1/2moa of point of aim. I picked up another HMR scope and one for .22WMR but haven't checked out the WMR calibration yet.

The scopes are Hawke Vantage, only place I've seen them in stock is airgunsplus.ca and they've been great to deal with, always shipping same day.

The HMR and WMR are 4-12 BTW.

How does the glass quality stack-up against the Hawke "Varmint SF"? (if you know) I bought one of the Varmint SF on an HMR package a few years back, the glass was very soft...and I'm not even that fussy!

x2. I had one of these SF as my first/last Hawke scope. Even with the side focus tweaked, it would not focus clearly at 50 yards. Very disappointed with that one. Funny they get some good reviews.

^indeed. It's why I accepted that package sight-unseen. Maybe the first scope I'd ever owned that I considered nearly unusable because of poor glass quality. I get the sense PGW Steve might know what he's talking about :) ...so I'd be curious if he could chime in on how the Hawke Vantage he suggested compares.

The Hawke Vantage and Hawke Varmint are very much the same scope. I've had both, at least half a dozen Varmints and one Vantage. They are especially popular with air rifle shooters as they are made to withstand the harsh double recoil of spring piston rifles, a recoil that is much more than any rimfire, including .22WMR. Keep in mind that great glass doesn't come on scopes that cost $300 or less. And having said that Hawke scopes in my experience are very good scopes for the money.

Perhaps this weekend I'll see how the 4-12 Hawke stacks up against my 3-12 Schmidt and Bender......not. Grauhanen says it well, a sub $300 optic isn't going to wow your eyes. I'll compare it to an older Bushnell Trophy and some Bushnell 3200/4200/4500 scopes at the same power. I found the optics decent, nothing else out there with a reticle system like this. I've got some Nikons with the BDC circles and tried them out with their app and it was out to lunch. It may be nice to see your misses, but I like to hit stuff too.

I'll do a bit of a side by side, right now memory won't do this kind of thing justice. I have a very wide selection of scopes I can compare to and I'll throw up the Air Force test pattern, I think I have one kicking around.

I have the .22LR Hawke HD IR 3x9x40 glass etched out to 200yards. Wild TV sold me on it. Well Its soooooo clear, does EXACTLY what it claimed to do.. SO I bought the Hawke Vantage AO .22wmr scope. Glass etched out to 300yards. It sure wasn't up to the standards the HD IR was. Glass was ok to say the least... IT sure wasn't what I wanted. So I sold it at a loss.. However, I sure can't say ENOUGH about how AWESOME the .22LR Hawke HD IR Scope is!!!!!!!!

I've used a rife with the Cabelas branded scopes. They were super nice!
