anybody try these, how well did they work? i'm thinking of making some for my mosin, but though i'd get some opinions first.
 
The early military load was a heavy ball in the 200gr + weight before they went to a 150gr pre WWII.Wiyh a 1-10 twist it will stabalize it fine and be a great brush load for deer ,bear and moose/elk..Lots of data in the Hornady books.................Harold
 
i saw the load in my sierra manual, and as i may get a chance to go for moose this year, thought it would be good for this due to the time it will spend in a sleigh, and the amount of bush were going through. guess i'll take the "pig sticker" off though
