220gr rn 308 loads

hey guys, i got a box of ancient CLS 220gr rn and planning to try them out.
i cant seem to find any data for this on 308.

any help would be great!

found some in an old lyman manual most these days think velocity is to low with this bullet weight.

3031 30 to 35gr
4064 33 to 38gr
4895 33 to 38gr

I ran a couple thru my M28-76 with decent results. Not sure how they'd do expanding in the 2200 fps range.

I would lean towards 200 gr max for .308 with 180 being better, save the 220's for 30,06.I realize ballisticaly there very close but right here is were the "06 shines

These would give ballistics close to the old 215 grain bullet load in the 303 brit. If you hunt in brushy areas where you want the bullet to penetrate the brush without deflection, and reliable kills and not a lot of meat damage, they will excel. In addition to that you will get ot enjoy a bit more kick.
