guess its gonna be a long winter!! Have to get out and look for some coyotes to pass the time.
That is cause you are. We have them by the hundreds of millions so there is no shortage of cute furry reactive targets. The lightweight, high-velocity bullets give the most spectacular terminal effects and produce a distinctive and impressively loud WHOMP! sound on impact with a wet, furry target.
It is LOTS of fun and all too easy to burn out a barrel .... hence the small 221 Fireball cartridge.
That pic makes me itchy ....... to kill something.
Seriously though, I had to stoop to shooting a couple of full water bottles last weekend just to see how the little Fireball would perform terminally and now you post a picture like that.

That's it! I was going to build a fast .30 in gunsmith class but I'm in for a .221 FB. Anybody have a bolt gun action they'd like to sell?

I hope to have my Volquartsen .17 HMR by gopher season. These fella's would be a semi auto's dream
