222 brass

Hi People....anybody know where I can buy 222 brass ( once fired or new )..I've looked every where with no luck...any help would be appreciated..thanks

I was in a similar vote and didn't see a lot available, so I ended up getting some Lapua 222 brass from Hirsch Precision (waiting for it to arrive).

Maybe others can speak to this in more detail... Certainly not hard to find once fired 223...

I plan on resizing. 223 brass. From what I gather all you need is a good lube, a trimmer, and some .222 dies.

That's exactly how I do it. No problems, just take your time and re-size in small increments. Watch for cracks on the shoulders.

did you check with green diamond outfitters in Moncton, they had some 222 rem Remington brass a while ago. I got some 243 brass there before Christmas.

I've bought mine off the shelf at Wholesale Sports or P&D Enterprises in Edmonton. If I couldn't find it locally I would ask Mystic Precision or Budget Shooter Supply. The stuff is certainly nowhere near so rare or hard to find that I would consider reforming it from another calibre.

Agreed! Get a box of Lapua and don't look back. Will last forever with that cartridge.

I was in the Wholesale Sports Edmonton north today, they had four bags of Winchester .222 brass. 100 cases per bag for $44.95.

and likely head stamped W-W for Winchester western, far superior to the new lapua..................hording a thousand of those for future considerations................
