222 recipe

sorry it took awhile,was working away. anyhow my buddy kept a record of load for remington 788 in 222 that i shot 4 targets. each target was a 5-shot group at 100 meters ,guessing each was 1/4 . he told me he used imr 4198 powder, 52 gr. speers hollow point, and 18.5 grs. of powder. wish i kept the targets to prove no b.s. sorry. hope this helps guys i dont handload. oh 1 more thing he said he extended bullets to meet the rifling,supposed to improve accuracy i guess, not sure how much he extended bullets.

Seating depth as a rule is rifle specific, so not to worry.
