That is a rather old 700. Someone will no doubt post a link to a Remington collectors' site so that you will be able to decipher the code on the barrel breech. Off the top of my head, it might bring $500-$800, depending...

I reccomend buying a couple of reference books like the blue book and there are others. They give you a reasonble idea of value. most books are in US$ but you can convert. Things in Canada may be a little different but usually not too dramatic differences either way. Also, spend some time studying EE forums to see what is being asked.

Word of advice. Asking on a site that also has EE forum may get you answers that may be a little off. Always someone looking for a great deal if you know what I mean.

Before I get slammed I would like to say that not one single person on CGN would ever do that as we are all honorable people and many of the oppinions given a based on hard cold fact.
