222 Rem Mag Brass from 204 Brass ???

My buddy just purchased an older 222 Rem Mag rifle I was able to find him some brass from SakoAlberta & dies from Rembo but he needs more brass.

I just remembered that 204 brass is possibly just necked up 222 Rem Mag brass is this true is it as simple as 204 brass just being necked out to .224"?

.204 is triple deuce mag necked down to 20 cal...

theoretically it should work both ways... thickness at the case mouth might be an issue..

Multitudes of .223 is for sale in the EEs. I used many .223 for my BSA .222...Mostly military and has stood up to 8 reloads without any concerns. .223 is much easier to find and cheaper.

Tough to make the 223 brass longer though. He's talking about the 222 Rem Mag, not the 222 Rem. Two different cartridges. - dan
