222 rem mag

Thanks man. I just tried those guys and they carry the dies for the 222 but not the magnum. I'm fairly new to reloading and I'm not sure if you can use the 222 rem.??

No they are not the same size/dimensions. That is not a very popular/recent caliber, You will probably have to order them. Higginson can order them or any store that carries reloading equipment. No idea what the delay would be. Where do you live (general area) this might help people know where to suggest you look. Good luck.

You can't use .222 Rem dies. The Mag is 463 thou longer.
Contact Prophet River. They had Redding dies listed last year at $87.
As mentioned, dies for anything can be ordered. How long it'd take to get 'em depends on whether or not the distributor has 'em in stock.

Ya thanks alot guys. The prophet river place has the full length die and bullet seating die. Also they said they can order in the neck sizing die if I want it. Cheers

Should be able to fireform .204 or at least use the brass.not hard to find used sets at gunshows or e-bay..............Harold

Ya I've read about that somewhat... Do you guys know if there are dis-advantages to full length resizing every time. I will be reloading for a bolt action gun and from what I've read you don't need to full length resize as often with this type of action. Can you use a full length die to resize the neck only?

Yes you can neck size with a FL die, just don't set it to touch the shell holder when fully up. Blacken the neck of a case fired in your rifle with a match or even a felt marker. Back your die out at least 1 turn and run the case through. You will see where resizing has stopped. Keep lowering your die until the resizing mark just stops at the neck/shoulder junction. Have fun.
