222 Rem Rechamber to ?

Don't most 222s have relatively slow twist rates so you'll still be stuck with using light bullets even if you upped the case size?

I would agree with Hoyt, lots of people like the 222 and they're not commonly made anymore so you should move this rifle onto someone who will enjoy it.

Alternatively, if you're bored with the 222 I would go bigger than 223, the performance difference just isn't enough to make it worth the hassle. If you like unique stuff, not many people running around with a 222 Rem Mag (although that doesn't really give you much more than a 223 either, but at least it has some panache)

YUP ! 1-14 twist 40-55 gr ers - I have other 22 cals including 223 Rem and 22-250 Rem RJ

In that case I'd sell the 222 and get something else entirely, 223 and 22-250 cover the bases for 22cal pretty thoroughly - the only thing you're missing is something smaller like a Hornet. I'd probably be looking at another caliber all together rather than another 22.

Can still buy 222 at Canadian Tire. Inherently accurate, cool little round. Leave it as is or sell it, but no sense in bubba'ing it. There's a reason Anschultz builds fine rifles in this great cartridge
