222 Rem Rechamber to ?

.22-.204 Ruger is an excellent wildcat, but my brother typically built them with a 1-8 twist to handle 75 gr Hornady AMAX bullets. Brass is readily available with one stroke of the sizer die, but is mis-marked on the headstamp if you have a .204 Ruger in the house.

Yes Sir BUT Really its a 222 Rem Mag - RJ

RJ, .22-204 holds more powder due to the shorter neck vs a .222 Rem Mag...about 1 grain more. I've had a couple .222s, a .223, a .222 Rem Mag (40X) and my brother has built several .22-.204s that I've shot. Definitely a slight step up in powder capacity and velocity from the Mag or the .223 AI.

Just dug up a couple of 222 Remington's I have... Thought about selling one. Then I pulled em out of the safe & thought 'chit' I'm not selling either one!!! LOL! Guess I better start reloading again.
