Does Tikka make the T3 Varmint Synthetic model in .222 Rem? I have searched and found the .222 Varmint wood stocked model but can not find anything on the synthetic model. Thank you.
I don't think I would even consider a Tikka in 222 on that long action. I have a couple old school 222 from the 70's/80's built in long actions, a Win M70 and a BSA CF2. I like them as they are kind of "novelty" items, they broke ground with the one action length and one barrel profile, one stock, to cut costs, making 222Rem up to 300WinMag on the same rifle.
So many better fits for the 222, CZ527's, Sako Vixens, BRNO FOX, Rem 7, even the Howa Mini is a nicer fit for that little cartridge.
Maybe, but I have a T3 lite that regularly prints 5 shots under .5moa with more than 1 bullet. Even a couple of 10 rounders in that range. I do believe however that they don’t import the .222 into Canada anymore.
