But then again, minimum wage in ON is $10.25/hr so it is still 30+ hours to buy a case, are we worse off? not really

In '84 I was 14 making $3.50/hour @ Pizzaville.
I make almost 10x that now and I still can't afford the ammo....

Glad I'm not the only one. My disposable income is not directly proportional to my gross or net income. Cripes, I can barely afford to reload.
I dunno, you could get quite a line up of guys with money in hand for surplus 5.56 at $300 for a case. It's still almost $50 cheaper than the cheapest you'll find.
I snapped up a pile of that Norc 5.56mm from CanAmmo. That norc ammo costed only 2 cents a round more than it costs to reload 5.56mm, and that was counting using free brass! Gotta keep your eyes peeled these days. Anything in the 34-38 cents a round range is a really good price.
That Norc ammo is now buried in my stache in the basement. I've got so much IVI brass I'm not going to even bother opening the chinese metal tins... might as well keep it safe for now and reload IVI for 2 cents less.Cancer

Hopefully I'll be at Borden. Depends on the kids and wife. I'm going to need to get my pistol shooting under control though. I shouldn't have sold my P220. The Glock isn't the same. Tough as a hammer but just as precise
