.223 black rifle

There is plenty of info on this site to help you choose for yourself. It's far more rewarding to make up your own mind than to let a bunch of people on a web forum choose something for you.

But, since you have $700 to spend your choice is pretty limited.

If you're looking for any black rifle, you can probably snag a Norinco CQ M4 Clone for around your price range, maybe a little more though.

If you're looking for a Non-Restricted black rifle, keep saving because they don't come cheap.

Get a nork, it shoots as good as any AR on the market period....good price to boot

Last CQB match, positions 2, 3 and 4 were taken by shooters using Norcs. Just sayin'

Wait if you want, or jump in with a Norc. If you want cheap shooting fun with a gun that just works, get a Norc. If the specter of cheap Chinese crap bothers you, get one made in NA.

What ever you do, don't worry about what everyone else thinks. Just enjoy your toy.

i did kick ass with a norinco. they are well made but you might want to upgrade eventually... so make sure its exactly what you want. you can get norc for around 700 or used ar in mint condition for a $1000. take your time think it over.

upgrade how? show me an AR that out shoots it consistently, If its looks are what your after buy an airsoft..... as far as an accurate AR its tough to beat a nork regardless of the price. I find when people spend more they seem to need to justify price because there stuck...........wont happen with a nork;) your only at the range.

NOOOO!!!!!

First step: WAIT!

Second step: Save up to 300$ while waiting.

Third Step: You now have 1000$.

Fourth step: Get a Canadian made AR for under 1k from Neit Arms

:D:D:D

This.

I waited and picked up a North American (Canadian made barrel, Upper and Lower) AR for $1100 from a fellow CGNer on the EE. Norcs shoot fine but I like when my gun says "Made in Canada", to me it's worth the extra cash.

Nothing wrong with a Norc, they run well and shoot well but remember you'll burn the cost of the gun in ammo faster than you thought possible, AR's go through ammo like fat kids go through smarties.

Not everyone wants to buy a gun made by someone making slave wages. I'd rather have my money going to a fellow North American. Yea you're gonna say some #### about how everything I use is chinese but when I have the choice, which is more often than not, I choose North American made goods.

Patience.

The Kel-Tec SU-16F is compact, lightweight, .223, and non-restricted. It is soon to be available here in Canada, and will fit the bill for a NR .223 fun shooter. It will also be well within your price range...
