223 brass dents?

I shot some 223 this last weekend. I was finishing my brass prep after fully resizing the cases, and I came across some unusual dents. I am using hornady dies which i have heard are a little tighter than others, wilt plenty of unique case lube. My question is, are these cases still safe to reload assuming that the dents will just come out with firing.
Thanks in advance,
Evan

use less lube. maybe even waaaay less lube...

these are post-resizing dents, right?

Edit; just checked, yep sounds post-resizing... wouldn't be perhaps that short angled part of the case (case shoulder) with the dents? If so, excess lube. If not, somethin else.

i checked the dies, unfortunately they are clean!

You could show us pictures of the dents but i still say too much lube causing hydraulic denting.Did you actually take the die apart and clean it or did you just look into it?
I would clean everything good then i would get a lube pad and liquid lube and use very little, don't lube the shoulder .I tried the cream lubes and i couldn't use little enough to stop the buildup of lube in the die.

Try a spray-on lube. I have had issues with the dimples on the neck. They are caused by too much lube. Even spray lube can do that. they are perfectly safe to shot from your 700.

Depending on the size of the dents, they're probably safe to shoot. Pictures are more helpful. That said, use those rounds for barrel warm up if you're shooting for precision.

Thanks for all the great advice guys. I will try the spray-on lube next time and be very sparing with it. If I have any difficulties with any firings regarding the dents I'll be sure to post my findings. Happy gunnutting I have posted the original picture below hopefully it works.

That is nothing. Just a little lube dent. Don't worry about it.

x2 fire away! I've fired brass with much larger dents an dings, those look just fine ;)
I used lee paste type lube and was getting these dents all the time, I still use the lee lube but apply it more sparingly problem solved for me.
