.223 brass.........?

What'arr you all using for brass that makes life easy in the reloading room?
Seen a bunch of used stuff for sale and different head stampings.

Dare tell?
 
Norinco (CJ), Remington Peters (R-P), and Winchester if you don't want to deal with crimped primers.
Federal, PMC, Lake City if you do.

If you are actually going to pay for once fired brass buying crimped primer brass is a sure way to know if it's once fired.
 
I buy once fired 5.56 Lake City cases that are already cleaned and the primer pockets swaged. Its far cheaper than Lapua and more uniform than Remington or Winchester.

Most of the Winchester brass I see has crimped primers. Just sayin

I doubt that we can order from them due to US Export laws (ITAR).
An export permit is around $250.00
The shipping would be free in CONUS.

I guess you just need to know a guy that buys factory ammo....Lots of it and sweeps up after him self and brings that once fired home and leaves it in a bag at home...this guy doesn't reload but for some reason I keep my spent brass?

I guess it's from running my lever action .30-30 with Hornady leverevolution box after box and was told that's good brass keep it to reload some day....then I won't have to buy spent brass.

Any who....223....5.56 .30-30 I mean sh!t I even buy 7.62x39 for my sks instead of surplus. It's all just piling up I was even thinking I should scrap it.

Don't be stupid.
Sell it on the EE if you don't want it.
Brass cased and boxer primed 7.62 x 39 will sell well.
I sold some to someone on here a little while ago.

Fair enough....maybe some reloaders local in the lower mainland want to make contact with me and I can sell it/trade...

It is available but we as individuals can't sell it on the Equipment Exchange.

I don't know if you have access so here is the direct quote from CGN Admin.

Depends what your looking for buddy. I just bought 100 Lapua 223 brass from Hirsch Precision. Expensive but good.

I've got a bunch of various used stuff that's once fired. If you are interested. PM me.
