Well I use chamber checkers to test my match ammo for IPSC pistol.

Is there such a beast for rifle calibers?

Case Gauge

It is called a case gauge, I got mine from dillion for my 223, 308,40 and 45acp.

Case gauge. I use a Wilson, which you can get from Lock Stock and Barrel, Sinclair International, etc.

Useful for setting headspace too. The Wilson is also a trim gauge (not a trim die, you can't file on it).

lyman makes them, I have one for my -06, don't use it much as I use a Lee collet neck sizer
