223 feeding

Am reloading 223 bullets out to 10 thou off rifling in a savage axis and the bullets seem to not feed without help. They are just short enough to fit in mag as oal is 2.330 both Speer 55 grain and Sierra 69 grain the rounds are very accurate so was wondering if there is something a gunsmith needs to machine as factory ammo feeds ok. Thanks in advance for your help
 
I don't know if it is the same problem, but I have trouble feeding some of my reloads to my CZ527. I can't get the bolt closed on some of the rounds. The oal and casing length is good, and I can see the rifling starting to engrave on the bullet. I am wondering if I am squishing the bullet somehow so it's bulging slightly above the neck. At a loss to explain.
 
I had my crimp a little too tight on the first load and squared the shoulder, thus expanding the brass behind the shoulder. disassembled, removed the primer, resized, and re-assembled. Then it cycled through the action like should
 
Once the cartridge lines up it slides in and bolt closes easy it is when it is coming out of mag tip of bullet does not line up with bore so you have to hand feed it by tipping shell and sliding forward

Try seating the bullet in about 20 or 30 thou deeper. How does a factory round feed. You might be too long

Do you have a Hornady oal measuring tool. You are also seating the bullet to far out . Also try chambering a sized case with no projectile. If the bolt closes nicely then your problem is bullet seating depth
