Realistically I think any rifle is good for coyotes (caliber specific of course). Any rifle in production today will be good enough for hunting purposes. Its up to the owner to practice. Remember guns don't kill people, people kill people. Same is true for coyotes. Guns don't kill em people do

*depending on range and your personal MO to only take 1 shot kills.

You wouldn't use an SKS to take coyote's at the same range you'd use a good bolt action in 223 or 22-250.
