.223 kaboom

Looks like it contained it well and sent it through the magazine.

What rifle?
Yes it obliterated the case but the mag completely disassembled.
I’m pretty sure I can put the mag back together and use it , if I had a new follower.

First thought from the picture is OOB. That is relatively rare with most semis, I am not familiar with the Siberian but I assume free-floating firing pin? What primers do you use? Even soft SR should survive the pin moving unless it was stuck somehow, built-up carbon or whatever.

There’s an issue with the FP,they have sent out a new modified version.
This happened earlier and just wanted the current owners to be aware.
They’re saying that the pin is sticking forward and causing OOB.
Anyway

I don't know how the primer would make the case disintegrate. Poor firearm design and/or poor quality control is the issue here.
I think the FP got stuck in the forward position and struck the primer on the way into battery.

What’s the point of cci 41 primers

I think he missed your point, and yeah they are to prevent inertia caused slam fires, but i dont think they or any primer would not go off if the firing pin was stuck forward like in this instance
