another cause of light primer strikes, the bolt is failing to lock fully into the locking lugs. it's rotated enough for the firing pin to go forward but is recieving to much pressure from the cam pin . enusre there is no obstructions or burs in the chamber or breach.
If those are clean try hitting the forward assist, before each round, if the problem goes away it could be that your buffer spring is compressed. An easy test to check that is drop two washers (quarters or loonies) behind the buffer srping; if the gun fires properly with the washers, you know what the cause of the issue is.

Check your hammer spring, make sure both legs are sitting on top of the trigger pin.

Thanks Tom Swift for posting those picture for me.
I believe this may be the issue. I know the norc trigger group was taken out so that a thorough cleaning could occur. I suspect the trigger group was reinstalled incorrectly such that the springs were below the trigger pin (which would probably explain the not yet mentioned symptom of walking pin).
I shall check this once I get a hold of that gun.

I shall also check my stag. That could be an unrelated issue related to the firing pin protrusion..

update, it was the spring was under neath the pin, not sitting on top. fixed. thanks all.
