ok, so I have an NEA-15 with the 14.5" barrel. I'm looking to start loading for it and was wondering if anyone has successfully worked some loads for it. I'm mostly looking for something with decent accuracy out to 100, though most of my shooting with it is 50 or less.

I'm also looking to do some more precision loads for 200 yards.

I'm almost out of factory ammo and need to start resupplying with my own loaded stuff. I'm using 55 grain lake city projectiles.

thanks.

Easy peasy...

Short range load, 55gr bulk bullet with some form of ball powder so you can just toss powder in a case and she will go BOOM

Longer range load, try 69gr SMK over Varget or H4895 and enjoy .40c/.50c a BOOM AR ammo

Another cool trick is to find some cheapish 60gr+ bullets such as Armscor and just load everything for accuracy to 200m... You may even get lucky and find the NEA likes cheap 55gr bullets and shoots em well past your short range goals.

FWIW, I loaded a bunch of 55 gr bulk FMJBT over 26.5 of BL-C(2) and it was accurate and metered well in my Dillon. I tried from 25.0 to 27.5 in 0.5 increments and 26.5 gave me the best groups. When I finally ended up chrono'ing them, I found they are about 100 fps slower than the American Eagle factory bulk 55 gr stuff. (2900 vs 3000 out of my 16" Bushmaster). Good luck.
