Someone pointed this out on a Texas gun forum I'm a member of.

I guess this "M855" used to sell for $300-$350 a few weeks ago.

Its army ammo so they boost the price "because if its for the army, then it has to be better some how"

Doesn't this go in the AMMO Section???

Sheesh you get a real kick out of telling people where to post don't you? Not as many capital letters this time to help get your point across eh? Don't you have anything credible to add?

I could be wrong, but I would think he posted it here because most people shooting .223 are shooting it through black rifle's.

In regards to the OP, I think it's silly to try to guess how much .223 or any other ammo will cost in the future. The prices vary and go up and down all the time, 3-4 years ago I was paying close to 47 cents per round for .223, then a year or two ago 39-40 cents a round was fair, now I just picked up a bunch of the Norinco M193 from CanAm for 35 cents per round, and it shoots great. Ammo prices have consistently dropped in the last few years from what I can see, so maybe they will go up again soon, it seems like we're due, who knows. Wait and see, it's the only way

It's the BO factor.
I saw on the news this morning that gun sales have spiked yesterday after the election.

The ONLY posts I have ever seen you make is telling people they are wrong, posting in the incorrect section or that their onion is false. What do YOU contribute here? Are you a youngest child who never got his way and is now, in turn a control freak. So now you need to play boss man on the internet?
