Has anyone tried these on deer? I will be coyote hunting with 60gr Nosler Ballistic Tips and plan on having some 60gr Partitions with me in case I run into some big game.
To save the countless "NO you can't do that", it will be under 150yds if I do take the shot. And in BC we can shoot most big game except Bison with a .22 centerfire.

Any favorite loads?

Have you tried swapping bullets on your BT load? CAn't think of why it wouldn't work w/ a bit of tweaking. I like h335 behind 62 TSX for the same task...

That 60 Partition will do the job just fine.
Keep your shots within your stated distance, place the shot well, and you will be eating venison.
Do make sure these bullets print similarly first, though.
Regards, Eagleye.

Accurate Powder lists some pretty impressive loads for the .223 and 62gr and 70gr TSX bullets, especially with AA2520. I'd be tempted to go that route.

I was in Wholesale Sports in Nanaimo and had the choice between the 60gn Noslers and 65gn soft point Sierra game kings. The guy told me to go with the game kings so I did. Not sure if that helps any lol.
