.223 Rem Load data

ok, I may have been silly and deleted the PM I had from a fellow CGN'r for
.223 REM, 50gr Hornady V-Max bullets. Can anyone please help me out?

I had good luck with H322 with a 50gr v-max.

Thanks for the catch. IMR and Hodgdon powders. I haven't decided which one I'm going to be using yet.

I'd try 25 grains of H-335. I use 25 grains of H-335 with my 52 SMKs to great effect.

26gr of Hodgedon 4895 is near perfect with 50grain Hornady soft points though my old Tikka M55.

I use 25.7 grains with the 50grain V-max with exellent accuracy.

Benchmark is a good powder for shooting the 223

I got some pretty decent results using Varget with 55gr. Vmax loads, but if I didn't already have the Varget on hand I would have gone for H335, it's for the win!

From what I've been told H335 is also good for use with bulk FMJs for plinking.
