I was wondering if anyone knows of any .223 revolvers? The only thing I can find is rumor that taurus has been thinking about making one for the past few years.

My understanding is that this seven shot revolver it didn't go anywhere after intial test run.

Don't think it would offer much over the 218 bee version.

Magnum Research BFR revolvers have been made in .223 and 7.62x39 calibers.

But the bottle-neck cartridges did not work well at all in a revolver. The cylinder would jam like crazy.

I'm pretty sure the BFR custom shop will still make you one if you have the cash.
But they come with a disclaimer; "Don't call us and complain if it doesn't work."

The rifle cartridges that do work well in a revolver are the ones that are shaped like revolver calibers.
45/70 Government is the best example. 30/30 works okay.

Quoted from the BFR Custom shop website;

Plus many other calibers available on your request.
Note: cartridges like the 7.62x39 provide unsafe or poor performance. Generally speaking bottleneck rimless cases will set back and not allow the cylinder to rotate freely.

That includes .223 I think.
