Anyone use these? I was thinking of getting an XCR in 223 when I get some cash, and I figure a good combo would be an XCR, some LAR-15 mags, and some of the stripper clips. The way I see it stripper clips are faster then the those mag loaders, and since the LAR-15 mags are 10 rounds they would work well with stripper clips. A guy on Ebay is selling 100 clips and two adapters for around $15.

try them out and let me know:)

for now i will stick with my lula loader doohickey, it's the small unit with the handle that you load 1 at a time and crank it over, i find it works well for me.

Stripper clips are much much faster for loading mags than a lula loader or etc. Being a cheapskate, I always just use my hands. Never did figure out how guys complain of sore thumbs.

Stripper clips = good idea.

Hell, in a hostile scenario, it may not even be a bad idea to keep a couple loaded strippers on your person, incase you empty all your loaded mags in a hurry!

Thats good to hear they work well, I figure I would get a case of 1000 rounds, and load them all onto clips. If I could find some cheap card board boxes that would fit five clips and a loader then I could just grab a box or two and i am good to go.

Also, is Canada Ammo bringing in any more of the 10/30 LAR mags?

Sorry, I don't know much about stripper clips... The only rifle I've ever used stripper clips with is my old .303. What is a stripper clip loader?

I kind of like the thought of putting my .223 cartridges into clips for the purpose of keeping things organized, but that would take a long time, and I don't know if it would be worth it.

If you shoot a lot or compete it's worth it.

They work excellent. I'll try and post a photo later if nobody else does first.

how well do they feed into the mag, particularily the rra 10 rounders?

It seems the guy in the US was only selling two batches. Anyone know where else they are availible? Ideally I would like 100 clips and twenty loaders. I know I am getting ahead, but I like to plan.
