223 to 35 Remington

Is it possible to open up the bolt head for a 223 case to except the 35 Rem case?


Yes I do know I will need to re-barrel the rifle to

Probably.
Extractor may be more of an issue than opening the face.

Not sure of make and model yet. This is a project I have had in my mind for a few years now. Thinking a Remington Model 660 or Model 7

Buy a new bolt from PTG and have it fitted.
