223 Twist Rate

As I have been developing loads for my Tikka .223 Tactical, I have found the consistency and "tiny-ness" of my groups improving as I head towards the 75-80 grain bullets. Twist? 1 - 8".

X2, the Tikka would the better one for heavier bullets I was told..

That's pretty much where I was leaning already having the .308 version already.

Got 1-12 , shoots 45's bad, 62's pretty good, 55's so so, and 52 match excellent. My guess , its the charge(52 match was a handload), bet if I put the same charge for the other weights , they would shoot also.

1/7 for 70-80 grains bullets. That is what i got on my Ar-15 LMT. Shoots great, especially if you go for long distances.
